i finished sylvie’s halloween costume this morning!
hat: baby gap, everything else: handmade by me
i am IN LOVE with her first halloween costume. it took me forever to finish because it is all hand stitched. i don’t own a sewing machine (i’m not even sure where i would put one in this place), but it is well worth having sore fingers. i can’t wait to take pictures of her in it at the pumpkin patch next weekend.

i just got this maternity shirt in the mail today, and i’m in love with it! i almost bought it in black, but i decided my life needed more red at the last minute.
i am 11 weeks today and little k is now the size of fig at 1.5″ long from crown to rump. i guess little k (for kumquat, in case you forgot) is little f now. it doesn’t have quite the same ring to it, does it?
little f is kicking and dancing up a storm in there! baby’s little hands can open and close into fists, and his/her bones are beginning to harden.
we have another appointment this thursday (i can’t believe it’s already been 3 weeks since the last one!) to do the triple screen and nuchal translucency scan. i’m a little bit nervous, but not too bad. i tend to be the type of person to prepare myself for the worst, so that if the tests come back fine i’ll be sure to appreciate it.
